Let It Go

In this last of 40 posts I would like to ask that you consider letting go of whatever you are holding onto. No matter what it is. You are more effective when you are in the present. You are also more authentically yourself. While in the moment you are open to innovation, to genius. Completely present you are able to access power and turn away from egocentric use of force. Let it go.

This is not to say that you will not stand up for yourself and for justice. However, we interrupt negative thought loops, and recognize the tendency to project emotional intensity into conflict. There is no victimhood in presence. Not losing sight on our true values we are able to act from them, and as a result challenge makes us who we are and who we want to be.

Letting it go helps us to focus on what inspires us, connects us to being creative and to a burning desire to be of service. In presence we find that we are that we are automatically kind and have a natural sense of well being. As we grow older we become more radiantly beautiful and wise. We avoid the trap that aging can make some fall into, growing more irritable and insisting that things go the way we would like. Instead we become a source of wisdom and joy to those around us.

Thank you for whatever part of this journey you have taken with me. I chose to do this project as a bit of encouragement for any that could receive it. In the year I will occasionally reach out and let you know what I am up to. I promise to be bold and to do what I can to make a positive difference. I would ask you to do the same; do not hold back. Work to create a stress reduction practice and work it. If you need support, know that I have clients in different parts of the United States and the world. This year let go of what is holding you back and shine, shine, shine!
