Us And Them

Us sounds so sweet doesn’t it?

And them sounds like an insult. 

Us and we point to unity.

They are the problem.

Of course, how could it be us? 

We are right and God is on our side.

We are saints because we are us.

They are evil because they are them

We can do what we choose.

The fault is never ours.

And we is always us,

Unless you become one of them

Then we will hate you even more than they,

Because if you choose to be them 

It means that you can never be with us

Us and them

But there is no us and them, only we.

And we can not hate them without lying to ourselves 

About hate being love and love being weakness

We end up not loving at all
