Firewall Your Consciousness

In realizing that our strength and power will be born in this time we must do what is necessary to create an environment in which to thrive. This time is rife with all the elements we need to experience each our own personal heaven or hell. As such It is incumbent (like what I did there? Election season baby!) upon each of us to realize that our best is not going to come about unless we make the choice for its cultivation. One of the essential areas we need to be vigilante in is in the realm of firewalling our consciousness. 

In vampire lore the vampire would stand at the threshold of the potential victim's home. He or she would not be able to cross the threshold unless invited in. Without the invitation they could do no damage. Once seduced into giving the invitation there was no end to the damage done. This is what energetic vampires do. They are invited in and then they do tremendous damage in pursuit of their sense of separateness. This happens in relationships and when we elect damaged people to political office. 

We can all see the inflammation in our society. Like people addicted to meth, once this toxicity is invited into the am of our consciousness it makes the person ravenous for more. Ravenous for more bad news, for more opportunities to judge and stoke a sense of self righteousness. As an example, some are attempting to harass people into voting for the candidate of their choice.

In stepping up to this time, please consider very specific limits to how much you watch news. Watch when you feel a desire to gorge yourself on it It is very likely the very time you should consider watching little of it. Focus on the energy you are putting out rather than any potential return. 

Do not tie yourself to the actions of others. Even in this election, do not get too high or low regardless of the result. There is more going on here than meets the eye, and you are more important than your name and place in society. 

Consider committing yourself to kindness, compassion, joy and positive indifference, no matter what. In shining these elements into the world you will lead us and you will firewall your consciousness.
